About us
Our Story
Preserving the ancestral art of Moroccan tribal weaving across generations.

The Heritage
Atlas Heritage Rugs began in the heart of the mountains — where fog lifts over cedar slopes and every village still speaks in pattern and knot. What started as a small family bridge between weavers and the wider world has grown into a quiet promise: to keep Berber traditions intact, not as museum pieces, but as living craft.
We work shoulder to shoulder with cooperatives and independent artisans, honoring their symbols, pacing, and choice of wool and dye. Each rug carries the rhythm of its maker; our role is to protect that authenticity — from the first warp thread to the final wash — so the story of the Atlas continues in homes far beyond its ridges.
Our Core Values
Principles we never compromise on — for our weavers, our land, and you.
100% Handmade
Every piece is knotted or woven by hand — no shortcuts. Our artisans use time-honored techniques, row by row, building dense, resilient pile that machines cannot replicate.
Fair Trade Certification
We partner under fair trade principles so women artisans receive fair wages, safe working conditions, and recognition for their skill. Your purchase directly strengthens families and cooperatives across rural Morocco.
Natural Materials
We prioritize pure premium wool from local flocks and organic plant dyes where tradition calls for them — materials that age beautifully, feel wonderful underfoot, and honor the earth they come from.
